Shipping

Next Bike Balcatta offers both Standard and Express delivery options. Standard shipping is managed through Australia Post eParcel, while Express is handled via Australia Post Express Post. Delivery timeframes are estimated at between three and seven business days for metro locations, with longer transit times expected for regional Western Australia. Express shipping generally takes one to three business days for metro areas, and up to five business days for regional WA.

For bikes and bulky items, freight providers will vary depending on location and best available pricing at the time of booking. Common carriers include TNT, StarTrack, Allied Express, Aramex, Couriers Please and DHL Express. Please note that some freight providers do not offer insurance. For this reason, bike shipping is handled on a case-by-case basis.

Free shipping is available for accessory and parts orders totalling over $150. Bikes and other bulky products do not qualify for free shipping. Customers are encouraged to contact us before placing their order so we can provide the most up-to-date freight quote. Accessories and parts can be shipped to PO Boxes provided they are not bulky. Bikes cannot be shipped to PO Boxes under any circumstances.

Customers are welcome to arrange their own freight. In these cases, Next Bike Balcatta will prepare the goods for collection and act as the designated pick-up location.

Orders are dispatched within one to three business days when items are in stock. Click & Collect orders are usually available within one to two business days if stock is on hand.

During high demand periods such as Christmas, dispatch and delivery times may extend by an additional one to two business days.

Shipping Policies

All orders include tracking, and customers will receive an email notification with a tracking link once their order has been dispatched. In the event of a delay or lost item, Next Bike Balcatta will liaise directly with the courier on behalf of the customer and provide updates throughout the process. Repairs, replacements or refunds will be offered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Returns

Products returned to Next Bike Balcatta must be in their original and unused condition and in the original packaging. Any item that does not meet these return conditions will be returned to the customer.

Change of mind returns are accepted within thirty days provided the goods are unused, unopened and remain in their original packaging. Sale and clearance items, as well as non-stock or custom order items, are not eligible for return under the change of mind policy. Customers are responsible for return freight costs, and once approved, will receive store credit redeemable either in-store or online.

Faulty products are covered under Australian Consumer Law. In these cases, Next Bike Balcatta covers the cost of return freight. Customers may choose between repair or replacement, and if neither is possible, a refund will be provided.

Exchanges and store credit are also available for eligible returns.

Returns Process

To initiate a return, customers must first contact Next Bike Balcatta with their order details and reason for return. For faulty products, supporting information such as images may be requested. Once the return request has been received, customers will be contacted with confirmation and the next steps.

If the return is approved, customers will be advised whether to send the product back at their own cost or if a prepaid label will be provided in the case of faulty goods. Returned products will be assessed upon arrival. If the return meets policy conditions, a store credit, exchange or refund will be processed. Where products do not meet the return policy, Next Bike Balcatta will contact the customer with further details.

Customers should include the return confirmation or return ID within the parcel, and securely attach any prepaid label supplied by Next Bike Balcatta. Once the returned item has been received, an email notification will be sent confirming receipt and outcome.

Click & Collect

  • Available from the Next Bike Balcatta store located at Unit 2, 52 Erindale Road, Balcatta WA 6021.
  • Orders already in stock are generally available within 1–2 business days (often sooner, but not guaranteed).
  • Orders not currently in store will follow normal freight timeframes before being available for collection.
  • Customers will be notified via email or SMS once their order is ready.
  • A valid order confirmation or photo ID is required upon collection.

Refunds

All refunds will be processed within three working days of approval. Refunds can only be made back to the original payment method used for the order. Any refunds for items purchased using a discount coupon or voucher will be credited at the net purchase price shown on the order confirmation. Customers should allow up to five business days after Next Bike Balcatta has completed the refund for their financial institution to process the payment back into their account.

Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
